North San Diego County (NSDC) Prayer Force is a network or coalition of like-minded believers in Jesus who recognize that the Kingdom of God will come in response to believing prayer and fasting and the proclamation of the gospel. We understand ourselves to be prayer missionaries who prepare the hearts of men and women to receive the gospel when gospel laborers proclaim the gospel to them.
Task: The goal is to recruit 1,000 prayer missionaries from within the boundaries of NSDC. NSDC is defined as the geography from Highway 56 north to Camp Pendleton and east to Ramona.
In prayer, NSDC Prayer Force supports the growth of a disciple-making movement that will result in every resident of NSDC receiving a personal Spirit-empowered presentation of the gospel from someone they know and trust. To accomplish this goal, there must be a movement of disciples who are disciple-makers who will make disciple-makers who will make disciple-makers and so on to at least the fourth generation.
We will pray for the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers who are able to proclaim the gospel in every heart language spoken in NSDC. The primary non-English language is Spanish.
NSDC Prayer Force is not affiliated with a particular local church or denomination but is evangelical in its theological understanding and stands for essential Christian orthodoxy as expressed in the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Chalcedonian Creed, and the Anthanasian Creed. We intend to support in prayer all orthodox evangelical ministries in North San Diego County who are committed to disciple-making.
NSDC Prayer Force recognizes that the work of the Kingdom includes practical service to the community in addition to specific efforts at disciple-making. The Great Commandment, to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves is at the heart of a disciple-making movement.
